October is National Dental Hygiene Month. National Dental Hygiene Month is an effort to celebrate the work of dental hygienists and to help raise awareness of good oral health.
In our office, our dental hygienists are an integral part of our team. We are fortunate to have 3 wonderful dental hygienists. Each of our dental hygienists is very dedicated and really cares about the well-being of their patients. We would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to and introduce you to all three of our hygienists.
Crystal grew up in Pocatello, ID. She graduated from Pocatello High and from the Salt Lake Community College Dental Hygiene Program. She has worked for 8 years- 7 of which was in a Periodontal office. She has been married for 13 years and has three “beautiful” children. They enjoy camping, cooking and watching movies together. Crystal’s hobbies include music, singing, baking cakes, and reading. She loves teaching people things they didn’t know before, building friendships with her patients and being part of a team.
Misty graduated from Bear River High School. She graduated with her Dental Hygiene Degree from Weber State University. She has worked for 17 years as a hygienist. Prior to her becoming a hygienist, she worked as a Dental Assistant. Misty has 3 boys. She spends her time working as a mom, homeschooling two of her boys, cooking, piecing quilts, and splitting her time between two ranches in Malta and Montpelier.
Jennifer grew up in Ogden and attended Weber State University. She graduated with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2013 from Weber State University. She was a dental assistant prior to her graduation as a hygienist. She has a little boy and is expecting a little girl in December of this year! Jen loves being outdoors, hiking, exercising and being with her family. She loves talking to people and enjoys teaching patients about their dental health.
